Professor Dmitry Martynov once again mentioned among the best Wikipedians of the year
Three of his articles from 2021 were awarded.
鈥淚 started working with Wikipedia in 2008,鈥 says Martynov. 鈥淚n almost 13 years, I have authored 450 articles. You have to compete in something, often confer with your colleagues, discover new things 鈥 those are all life skills in our professional community. Importantly, even in the time of the overflow of media content and the spread of social networks, the free encyclopedia is a giant, reliable, fundamental pillar of classical text knowledge, without which we are not going to fare well.鈥
The three commended articles are:
(Papyrus);
(Iosif Grigulevich);
(Adam Johann von Krusenstern).
Articles of the Year are marked by a gold star with laurel branches.
Martynov鈥檚 articles have received high praise before. In 2019, the winners were (First Russian Antarctic expedition) and (Louis Pasteur).
